Erykah Badu, Cookies founder Berner and her team have created “That Badu,” Erykah Badu’s own strain. The music legend and entrepreneur describes this Limoncello hybrid from Mad Cow Genetics a lemon aroma that “just keeps you going through the day” without feeling overwhelmed.

Erykah is a long-time advocate of women’s equality. She’s partnering with Cookies cannabis, to launch That Badu – a premium range created with women in mind. It will debut on International Women’s Day, March 8, and mark Women’s History Month. A second set of products is scheduled to be launched around Mother’s Day on 14 May.
Badu’s vision for her brand was fully realized at every stage of creation – from research and testing, through packaging design. All products have a purple-and white motif that resembles ancient Chinese Qinghua porcelains. Together, the two collaborated to create a piece that celebrates cannabis’ beauty and ritual.
